To find the advanced configuration options, press your Setup button, then select Advanced Configuration.


Homepage Address

Do not edit your homepage address unless instructed by Sky Angel to do so.


Beep Sound

The Beep Sound option allows you to enable or beep sound made by using the Sky Angel remote.


Sleep Mode

The Sleep Mode option allows you to enable or disable the sleep mode function. Sleep mode can automatically stop your programming if you plan on leaving or possibly going to sleep with the television playing. The sleep mode will prompt the viewer with a dialog window after four hours of uninterrupted viewing. The viewer must press the PLAY button to continue viewing, otherwise Sleep Mode will stop the programming.


Screen Saver

The Screen Saver option allows you to enable or disable the screen saver function. When enabled, the screen saver will appear if the Sky Angel box is left idle on a menu screen for several minutes. This feature is designed to protect your television screen from burn-in damage. The screen saver will also appear while a radio channel is playing. Pressing any button on the remote will stop the screensaver and return the video display. If you use TiVo it is recommended to leave this option disabled.


Audio/Video Mode

You can also choose the Audio/Video mode you are using. You have two options:
  • AV/S-Video - used for composite (Red, White, and Yellow cables) or S-Video connections
  • AV/Comp Video - used for component (Red, Blue, and Green cables) connections
