What Do I Need Beforehand?
To perform a hard wireless reselect there are a few bits of information you will need: Your network name, your network encryption method, and your wireless key. Your network name is the name of your wireless network. The type of encryption being used can be either WEP (64-bit or 128-bit) or WPA-PSK (TKIP or AES).
Keep in mind WPA2 does not work. You also need to know what your wireless key/password is.
Where Do I Find This Information?
If you set up your wireless network you should have this information, if your internet provider installed your network you should have paperwork with this information printed on it. You can also contact your
internet provider or the
manufacturer of your router/gateway for the information. Some routers and modems have this information printed on them. This information can also be found by logging into your router or gateway, for help with that visit our
Router guides or
Modem/Gateway guides (you must log into SkyAngelTech.com to view these pages). In most cases Sky Angel representatives can also help you find this information.
